The Leisure Acres community is filled with an incredible variety of people -- all of whom make great neighbors and friends. Residents come from all over the country and from all backgrounds. Here's what some of our residents have had to say about life in Leisure Acres.

Dale Carpenter has emailed us to reserve a site in the RV section.  He wrote: "Thank you and Leisure Acres for going the extra mile to work with us.  It is really appreciated at this time.  Having not even seen your complex, I would recommend your company in a minute, based on the great communication we have established.  Dale  2011

A long time resident, Esther Soehner was greatful Leisure Acres not raising the rent for the 4th  year in a row. She wrote a note saying:  Nadine, Andy, Terry & Todd, Thank you for not raising our rent for another year.  Hopefully the economy will get better.  I seen many changes since I came to Leisure Acres in 1983, all for the betterment of the residents.  I hope to be able to make my home here for a few more years.  Esther 2011
 

Clarence & Alma Skiles have lived at Leisure Acres for 21 years.  Clarence said "It is the best park I have ever lived in. I have been in many parks over the years, but by far Leisure Acres is the cleanest of them all".  He also stated he likes the park because it is close to many stores (grocery, malls), doctors, hospitals.  It is very convenient to everything and centrally located in Florida.  Clarence loves to shuffleboard and go to the dances.  Alma loves to paint and do crafts.  Clarence & Alma make such a cute couple on the dance floor.  Clarence & Alma 2009

Stan & Susie Fouts came to Sebring in 1994.  They sold home in Sebring and came to Leisure Acres 4 years ago to be with Stan's dad, Willis.  Stan's dad and mom, Willis and Andria Fouts lived at Leisure Acres from 1982 thru 2009.  My parents loved living in the park.  Stan helped his dad for 10 years here in Leisure Acres and in the summer Stan and Susie manages a RV park up north for the past 10 years.  Stan and Susie love the cleanliness of our park and love that there are no pets allowed.  Stan loves to spend lots of time in the swimming pool.  Susie loves to play the organ for people.  They love to play cards and go to Monday Night programs.  They really like the Management at Leisure Acres.   Stan & Susie 2010

 Leland & Angilee Beery came from Indiana to rent an RV site for 1 month and stayed 6 weeks, because of there enjoyable time at Leisure Acres.  They wrote a letter to Management about their experience: 

Dear Andy, Todd, Terry & Pat:  As we take our leave from Leisure Acres and head back to work and the cold winds of Indiana, I feel compelled to say a few works about our time with you. 

It is all good! You run a clean, safe, friendly and well-maintained park.  I don't know what other parks charge, but it really doesn't matter, because we wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

You were all so kind to take the time to converse.  This park feels like home.  I realized this a few days ago when the thought occurred to me that it wasn't just the warmer weather that I would miss.  I suspect that much of your success has to do with the people that you are "hands-on" owners.  That concept is likely grossly under appreciated in our society.

Assuming we are able, we will see you next year.  In the meantime, be safe, be well and take some credit for making a postive difference in people's lives.  Leland and Angilee Berry 2010
